The Walking Dead S06 E10: The Next World

On last week’s heart stopping episode of “The Walking Dead,” we lost a few friends, but we saved a few, too. Remember, that during the apocalypse, a big bazooka is man’s best friend with Daryl giving new meaning to the word, KABOOM! While Carl heals from his injuries, Rick and Daryl go on a quest to find the mother of all grain and, come face to face with Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

31 Days of Horror 2015 – “The Walking Dead” S06 E02: JSS

While watching last week’s premier of season six of “The Walking Dead”, we were brought up to date with the clever use of flashbacks. Rick Grimes and Morgan come off as scary men to the people of Alexandria. What do they know? It just takes one accident or an act of sabotage, like a well-timed honking of a horn, to bring the swarm of walkers into the town. Morgan is going to need his Bo staff because some of Alexandria’s enemies aren’t the shuffling dead. Read the rest of this entry

The Walking Dead S05 E15: Try

Last week’s episode directed by Jennifer Lynch had Facebook and Twitter ablaze with talk about Noah’s (Tyler James Williams) death. It was gruesome for sure, but what did we expect? Ms. Lynch skillfully reminded us that walkers are nasty and humans are dangerous. Is Pete abusing his family? Will Gabe, the Rat, spew more lies? Will Deanna show her true colors when Aiden doesn’t return home? I think I need some of Carol’s cookies. Don’t you? Read the rest of this entry

The Walking Dead S05 E01: No Sanctuary

The Walking Dead Season 5 Comic Con Trailer 006

When we last met on “The Walking Dead,” Team Rick and his group were searching for sanctuary. What they got was a nightmare named Mary and Gareth. Rick and the gang are locked up in a cattle car and their combined asses are on the line; the food line that is, if the people of Terminus have their way. Who will save them? Steampunk Granny Does Monster-Mania

I get myself into many adventures, and that’s okay, because you meet the nicest people. Some people are downright interesting. This past weekend, Cherry Hill, NJ hosted the Monster-Mania Convention at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. What is Monster-Mania? I didn’t know, but I was about to find out.  Did I have fun? Find out after the jump. Read the rest of this entry

The Walking Dead S04 E09: After

If there is anything that will rid us of this winter lethargy that we find ourselves buried in, it’s the return of my favorite series. I’m still reeling from the events of episode 8. Didn’t expect the outcome, but in reality, I should have seen it coming. We lost another loved member of Team Prison… maybe two. Is baby Judith alive? Rick and the team are on the run again. The Governor is dead… but what new dangers will Rick and the team face? Find out after the jump. Read the rest of this entry

The Walking Dead S04 E08: Too Far Gone

Holy golf balls! We mistakenly thought that our rascally rabbit, The Governor, had become a mere shadow of the diabolical tyrant we all grew to love and hate. We were wrong! Megan, while playing a game of chess with The Governor, says to him, “It’s your move.” Move he does, starting with Martinez and working his way down to Peter, our new pond zombie. The Governor is back and he’s looking for a new home. Will Team Rick welcome him with open arms? Find out after the jump.

31 Days of Horror 2013: The Walking Dead S04 E02: Infected

Holy tweeting pigs! Last week’s episode hit the ground running with Rick and the team surrounded by walkers clamoring to get inside; insistent little buggers! Yes, all is well at the Sunnybrook farm, and with Hershel acting as Zen master of the veggie farm, what could go wrong? Yes, my little zombie snacks, there are even farm animals on site. In fact, Violet the pig has her own Twitter and Facebook account, but… not for long. An uninvited guest may have snuck in with the people from Woodbury; just ask Violet and Patrick (Vincent Martella). Meet you after the jump. Read the rest of this entry

The Walking Dead Recap – Season 3, Episode 16: “Welcome to the Tombs”

carl2I can’t believe it’s the end of season 3. Episode 15 was a true nail biter, and I’m not talking about the Governor’s favorite finger food. Bad pun, I know, but if you watched last week’s show, then you’ll get it. Michonne’s life was in Merle’s hands. Glenn proposed to Maggie and the zombies are invited to the wedding. Rick gives the power back to Team Prison. What’s on the ballot? Stay, or run like hell. In the end Merle turns out to be a good guy, but we all know what that means; no good deed goes unpunished. The Governor is ready to attack, and Andrea is still a prisoner. What else could go wrong? Find out after the jump. Read the rest of this entry

“The Walking Dead” Recap – Season 3, Episode 12: Clear

Walking-Dead-Season-3-Episode-12-Preview1“She has the whole world in her hand; she has the whole wide world in her…” Oops, got a little carried away thinking about last week’s show. Episode 11 was one plot twist after another.

The good news, Rick is back from the spirit world and hopefully… Lori will go to the other side and stay there. Stop distracting our team leader! Carl is growing up and Merle is playing nice. Tyreese and his friends have picked the wrong door prize, and for now, they seem to be team Woodbury. Andrea finds out that the Governor couldn’t tell the truth if his life depended on it, but does she leave? Long sigh! No, she has Milton help her build her own zombie pet and off she goes to visit the prison. Andrea’s pet zombie was more welcomed at the prison than she was. Her friends are confused about her loyalty, especially Michonne. While Andrea meets the youngest member of team prison, Carol gives her a little ‘Dear Abby’ advice: Kill the Governor! Andrea returns to Woodbury but does she take Carol’s advice and send the Governor on a one way trip? Speaking of trips, where are Rick, Carl and Michonne going?  Find out after the jump.
