The Walking Dead S06 E10: The Next World

On last week’s heart stopping episode of “The Walking Dead,” we lost a few friends, but we saved a few, too. Remember, that during the apocalypse, a big bazooka is man’s best friend with Daryl giving new meaning to the word, KABOOM! While Carl heals from his injuries, Rick and Daryl go on a quest to find the mother of all grain and, come face to face with Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

The Walking Dead S06 E06: Always Accountable

Dust off that bassinet! There’s a new baby on the way, but that good news is streaked in sorrow. Maggie is pregnant, but I’m afraid she’ll be raising this baby on her own; Glenn’s fate is still up in the air. In last week’s episode of “The Walking Dead,” love was in bloom for Rick and Jessie and maybe Tara and Denise. While Team Rick is getting all kissy face behind the walls of Alexandria, someone attacks Daryl, Abe and Sasha and we are left to ask, “Why?”

The Walking Dead S05 E15: Try

Last week’s episode directed by Jennifer Lynch had Facebook and Twitter ablaze with talk about Noah’s (Tyler James Williams) death. It was gruesome for sure, but what did we expect? Ms. Lynch skillfully reminded us that walkers are nasty and humans are dangerous. Is Pete abusing his family? Will Gabe, the Rat, spew more lies? Will Deanna show her true colors when Aiden doesn’t return home? I think I need some of Carol’s cookies. Don’t you? Read the rest of this entry

The Walking Dead S05 E06: Consumed

“Don’t place all your eggs in one basket!” Good advice especially during the apocalypse. In last week’s episode of “The Walking Dead,” Sgt. Abraham had a Holy Grail; deliver Eugene to Washington DC Eugene had a Holy Grail too; staying alive even if it meant telling a big fat lie. While Team Abe tries to deal with their disappointment, let’s check in on our apocalyptic Wonder Woman and see what she thinks of the nursing care at Grady Hospital. Read the rest of this entry

The Walking Dead S05 E04: Slabtown

Bob’s dead, Glenn and Maggie have joined Sgt. Abraham’s team, Gareth and his cannibals were chopped and diced by Rick’s team, but on last week’s episode of “The Walking Dead,” Daryl had someone hidden in the bushes. Who is it? Where the hell is Carol and, who has Beth? Hang onto your IV tubing and follow me. Read the rest of this entry

The Walking Dead S05 E01: No Sanctuary

The Walking Dead Season 5 Comic Con Trailer 006

When we last met on “The Walking Dead,” Team Rick and his group were searching for sanctuary. What they got was a nightmare named Mary and Gareth. Rick and the gang are locked up in a cattle car and their combined asses are on the line; the food line that is, if the people of Terminus have their way. Who will save them? Steampunk Granny Does Monster-Mania

I get myself into many adventures, and that’s okay, because you meet the nicest people. Some people are downright interesting. This past weekend, Cherry Hill, NJ hosted the Monster-Mania Convention at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. What is Monster-Mania? I didn’t know, but I was about to find out.  Did I have fun? Find out after the jump. Read the rest of this entry

The Walking Dead S04 E13: Alone

Dinner snakes and boob planters and you have yourself a home away from home… or not. Beth is a survivor. She knows it, and now, so does Daryl. Our apocalypse stud muffin opened up on last week’s episode and we learned his secret. Joan Osborne says it best, “Just a slob like one of us… just a stranger on a bus… trying to make his way home.” And that, my little zombie snacks, is why we love Daryl so much. But, I’m worried about the other members of the team. What’s worse than fighting zombies? Find out after the jump.

The Walking Dead S04 E12: Still

First pudding and then crazy cheese! Last week’s episode was one surprise after another with Michonne opening up her heart and soul to Carl. I’m sensing some vibes going on between Rick and our Ninja warrior. Will they become a couple? I guess we’ll have to wait to find out because they’re on the run again. I’m starting to like Sgt. Abraham Ford, but I’m not too sure about mullet man, Eugene. I have two questions. What’s Daryl cooking for dinner and what did he do before the apocalypse? Find out after the jump. The Walking Dead S04 E10: Inmates

Who’s that knocking on the door? What a kick ass way to start off the second half of the season.  In episode 9, Rick was badly hurt and Carl was almost a zombie snack trying to make his way without good ole dad. Sometimes, eating pudding gives you a new outlook on life. Michonne’s flashbacks showed us what she’d lost in her previous life, which was plenty. Now we know why she’s so angry. Now that Michonne is reunited with Rick and Carl, what are the other members of Team Prison up to? Let’s find out after the jump. Read the rest of this entry
