Bond’s Back In Skyfall – Biff Bam Pop’s Box Office Predictions

One movie and one movie only will top the box office this weekend – the long awaited return of the greatest spy in pop culture history. How much will Bond bank this weekend? Here’s our prediction.

Daniel Craig returns as 007 James Bond in Skyfall, the first film in the franchise in four years, released in celebration of Bond’s fiftieth anniversary. There’s a ton of eager filmgoers who have been waiting for this flick, not just in North America, but around the world, where it’s already opened and broke box office records in various territories. So how will it perform this weekend? No doubt, Skyfall will have the biggest opening in Bond history, outperforming Quantum Of Solace’s $67.5 million debut. Look for a huge opening of $95 million.

The rest of the top five will pretty much be in the shadow of Skyfall. Look for Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph to drop to second place $32 million. Denzel Washington and Flight will claim third with $19 million, Argo will come in fourth with $10 million while Taken 2 should take fifth once again with $5 million.
