Doctor Who S10 E11: ‘World Enough and Time’

Doctor Who S09 E08: The Zygon Inversion

Things looked quite grim at the end of last week’s episode of “Doctor Who.” An insurgency in the 20 million Zygons living in hiding among the human race has endangered all involved, be they human, Zygon, or Time Lord. Clara and Kate Lethbridge-Stewart are possibly dead, with the evil Bonnie blowing up The Doctor’s plane with a rocket launcher – what next? Doctor Who S09 E05: The Girl Who Died

When details and titles of the current season of “Doctor Who were announced, most of the buzz was about an episode or two featuring actress Maisie Williams, better known as Arya Stark from “Game of Thrones.” Over the past five seasons of the HBO fantasy series, she has given standout performances and has been one of the best things about the show. Doctor Who: Last Christmas

Since Christopher Eccleston regenerated for the first time in the new “Doctor Who” series, and David Tennant re-emerged as The Doctor to fight a duel for the Earth against the Sycorax – the Doctor Who Christmas Special has become a world wide holiday tradition. Every year since, The Doctor fights for all of us to have a safe Christmas, and this year is no different, even with Peter Capaldi still adjusting to the role. In “Last Christmas” by showrunner Steven Moffat, The Doctor reteams with Clara, along with Nick Frost as Santa to save us all. Meet me after the jump for my review.

Doctor Who S08 E09: Flatline

Writer Jamie Mathieson (“Being Human,” “Dirk Gently,” and Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel) takes his second shot at “Doctor Who” after last week’s episode “Mummy on the Orient Express.” Rather than time or space, Jamie takes aim at dimension here in this week’s episode, for what may be one of the better stories of the season so far.
