After the big numbers last weekend, things will quiet down a bit at the box office, as no new major releases are opening. Who will wind up on top? Here’s our prediction:
Disney’s Moana has been a massive hit, regarded as perhaps the film the studio has been working to make over the last 60+ years. Look for Moana to hold on to the top spot this weekend with $30 million.
As for the rest of the top five, Fantastic Beasts and How to Find Them will remain in second place with $17 million. Marvel’s Doctor Strange will be in third place with $8 million, while Arrival will hit fourth place with $6 million. Allied will close things out in fifth place with $5.5 million.
So, to recap, here are our predictions:
