“Moana” Holds Strong at the Weekend Box Office

Even though there were no new major releases out this weekend, it didn’t matter for the bottom line, as last week’s holdovers managed to bring in solid numbers. Here’s what went down:

Disney’s Moana had a solid second weekend in release, bringing in an estimated $29 million. This raises the film’s total to $120 million. The film is definitely on track to cross the $200 million mark and, depending on how other films play out, it could get up to $250 million

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them held on to second place with $16 million. The film currently sits at $180 million, and should have no issues making it over $200 million. Though some were sceptical about the lack of known characters in the film, clearly Harry Potter fans came out to return to the world.  Read the rest of this entry

Holiday Gift Ideas 2016: Have You Tried Parkour?

I have nine grandchildren, but three of the boys are fully invested in the sport of Parkour. The older boys used what they learned from the sport to excel in the military, while the youngest brother has to wait a few years to join the Marines.
