The GAR! Podcast: Neil Vokes – The Camden Comic Con 2016 Interview

This week, we’re recorded live from the 2016 Camden Comic Con, and interviewing the legendary comics artist and writer Neil Vokes, co-creator of Eagle and Death’s Dark Angel. You may also know his work from The Black Forest, The Wicked West, and Parliament of Justice. He is one of the best black and white artists to ever grace the form, and over the years has even tried his hand at Superman, Spider-Man, and Tarzan. See and hear more after the jump.

Orphan Black S04 E01: The Collapse of Nature


The Seestras are back! Plenty happened in the season three finale of “Orphan Black” but I’ll just name a few: we met the Castor boys, Delphine was killed, Alison won the election; the clones met the original, Cosima got her sample; Helena reunited with Jesse, and Rachel has a cyborg eye. Disney’s The Jungle Book looks to go wild at the box office

While everyone in America seems to be feeling the Bern, box office pundits are beginning to feel something else. The coming war. Civil War, that is. The vibe is strong from Captain America: Civil War, which opens May 6th and has already been scoring incredible reviews. But we’re still a few weeks away, which means that a few new movies over the coming weeks are looking to score some quick bank. Will any of this week’s new releases have any power? Here’s our prediction:

The Jungle Book

Disney’s The Jungle Book is a live-action adaptation of the classic animated film, and boasts the directorial prowess of Jon Favreau and the voice talents of Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba and Ben Kingsley. The reviews have been glowing, and Disney has had a strong run of hits with adaptations of Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland and Maleficent, so this entry should prove to be no exception. Look for a first place showing for The Jungle Book with $95 million.
