The Flash S03 E23: ‘Finish Line’

Iris West is dead. Or is she? In The Flash, a show that has out-timey-wimey-ed even Doctor Who this season with the time travel twists, anything could be possible. Now the season finale is here, and we’ll find out if Iris is really dead, as Team Flash squares off for possibly the last time with Savitar and Killer Frost, and who knows what might happen? Meet me after the speed and time traveling jump for my review of the more-than-appropriately titled “Finish Line.”

The Flash S03 E10: “Borrowing Problems from the Future”

When last we left The Flash, Savitar had not only dropped a prophecy of doom upon Team Flash, but momentarily propelled our hero into the near future where he witnessed the death of Iris at the hands of the villain. Now time marches toward that event, can the Flash stop it from happening? Find out after the time jump in my review of “Borrowing Problems from the Future.”

The Flash S03 E02: “Paradox”

What we saw at the end of last week’s episode of The Flash was only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the after-effects of fixing the Flashpoint timeline. BBP! Fan Expo Canada: Day 2 Guide (Friday)

Fan Expo CanadaLike an appetizer at a grand feast, yesterday was tasty – but a taste was all it was!

How are your feet? Wearing comfortable shoes? Good. How’s your back? Is the strap on your pack strong enough to carry a heavy load of books, toys and other weighty paraphernalia? Excellent. You’re very nearly prepped.

Today begins Day 2 of Fan Expo Canada – and it’s the first of the two longest days of the pop culture convention operation, starting at 10:00 AM and running until 7:00 PM.

If you didn’t get a chance to make a run to those exclusives tables, make sure you do it first thing this morning – they’re not going to be around much longer. And if you want original art from some of your favourite pencillers and painters in Artist Alley, take it from me and do it now.

31 Days of Horror 2015: From Dusk till Dawn

One of my favorite movies, and television series, along with a flavor of the month for horror, would be the film From Dusk till Dawn, the amazing cross-genre masterpiece from two undoubted movie masters of horror – Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. Together they wove a tale of two spree killers from a straight crime drama who wander into a horrific den of vampires. Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on From Dusk till Dawn.

We’re Finally Outatime With BACK TO THE FUTURE #1 On The Wednesday Run

OutatimeOctober 21, 2015.

We still have roads for our cars. We don’t have hover boards. I’m still forever tying knots in my shoelaces. I do believe the Cubs are still looking to win a World Series. And, thankfully, the Jaws series of films have yet to reach their nineteenth installment. (But there’s still time.)

These are all things that keen-eyes futurists caught in the second installment of the Back to the Future trilogy of films. But it was that original movie starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd thirty years ago that captured our imaginations in 1985.

Still October 21, 2015 plays a large part in BTTF lore. It was the day in the future that Marty McFly had to get to in order to save his kids. And what better way to celebrate that incident, and the anniversary of the first film, then with a comic book tie-in event.

Follow me after the jump for 1.21 gigawatts of pure childhood pleasure with the scoop on Back to the Future #1!
