For a game about riding a bike through France, Tour de France 2018 from Cyanide Studio is exactly what I was expecting: It’s strategic and kind of good looking but unfortunately, quite boring.
“A lot of walking in these games.” I said to Andy Burns, as we sat, taking in Sony’s 2018 Playstation E3 Experience at Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto, “but you know what there isn’t enough of?”
“Flutes.” He said, and we both chuckled.
MLB: The Show 18 is exactly what you’d expect from Sony San Diego: it’s beautiful, plays wonderfully and is graphically better than the previous year.

Bleed 2 is a fast-paced, fluid, pixel-drawn run-and-gun style game that performs well, somewhere between a platformer and a twin-stick shooter. It’s a fun but difficult adventure that has some great pros, but also some cons.
‘The Inpatient’ is the kind of game that seems like a meaty, immersive horror experience in the vein of the incredible ‘Resident Evil 7.’
