My Roanoke Nightmare “Chapter One” comes to American Horror Story

American Horror Story is back and we are promised new scares. We loyally traveled down the dark corridors of the last five seasons beginning with: Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, and finally, Hotel. But, until tonight, the theme for season six was kept more secret than Trump’s tax returns and medical records. Tonight showrunner Ryan Murphy finally revealed the season six theme with a vengeance. American Horror Story, Hotel: S05 E10: She Gets Revenge

Remind me never to attend a wedding at the Hotel Cortez. The Countess keeps her lovers rotating faster than a revolving door. On last week’s episode of American Horror Story, Mr. Drake never made it to the honeymoon after meeting his new step-son, Bart. It was not a Brady Bunch moment. While Alex asks John for help, Iris and Liz make plans to check out of the hotel. Do they? Meet me after the jump. Read the rest of this entry

31 Days of Horror 2015: October’s #1 Hit Shows: American Horror Story and The Walking Dead

For many people, October means fall weather, Halloween costumes and pumpkin patches. Yeah, that stuff is fun, but for me, the month of October is the return of two of my favorite shows. What will we be seeing on “American Horror Story: Hotel,” and what is happening with our favorite lawman, Rick Grimes, on “The Walking Dead“? Sing a few lines of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” and follow me. Read the rest of this entry

American Horror Story: Freak Show S04 E13: Curtain Call

Last week’s episode Of “American Horror Story: Freak Show” had us all reeling with plot twists full of revenge and lunacy. It was almost like watching Congress at work. What the freaks finally did to Stanley was a brilliant tribute to Tod Browning and his film, but I never expected Maggie to die. Elsa’s on the way to Hollywood, Chester’s in jail and Dandy’s the new owner. It’s the last performance of the season and the show must go on. Your ticket for tonight comes with a warning, “He who enters is doomed.” Read the rest of this entry
