I love being one of the senior writers on Biff Bam Pop!, I get to interview such interesting people. I left off on Part One of my interview with Drew Nelson, who played Matt Sayles on FX’s hit vampire show, asking him what it was like to live and die on “The Strain.” We’ll pick up from there. Last week’s episode of “The Strain” had Setrakian’s bat cave invaded by Herr Eichorst and his posse, Gus captured by the ninja vamps, and Team Setrakian on the run in their trusty bread truck. How will season one end? Will they find the Master? Grab a stick of dynamite and follow me. Read the rest of this entry
Last week’s episode of “The Strain” had Ephraim killing Matt, Gus facing his infected family, Fet inventing cool UV light bombs, and little Zach babysitting Nora’s mom. Fet knows how to kick butt and the master vampire likes to taunt, but we didn’t get to see Eichorst or the ninja vampires. Are you curious as to what The Master and Eichorst have planned for Team Setrakian? I am. Join me after the jump. Read the rest of this entry
In last week’s episode of “The Strain,” after Kelly Goodweather infected her BFF, she had a private audience with the Master. Ephraim played a game of “he loves her, he loves her not” with Nora’s heart and we learned that Mr. Fitzwilliams is one of the good guys. Setrakian has all the weapons he needs at his bat cave, but who will go after the Master tonight? Grab your UV lights and follow me.
We now know what the Master looks like and he’s a real charmer. Not! Last week’s episode had Ephraim’s wife missing in action, and our team of vampire slayers camping out at Setrakian’s bat cave. Dutch is now a disgruntled employee of Mr. Palmer’s, but what about poor Mr. Fitzwilliams? Are the employee benefits worth his loyalty? Follow the stingers to find out.
Holy UV Lamp! I know working a convenience store can be dangerous, but if you had to choose between an armed robbery and a blood sucking vampire, I’d go with the thief. Poor Jim is dead; the wormectomy a failure. Setrakian’s team has escaped, but I’m not sure how fast that Bread Truck can go. Will Ephraim save his family in time? Will Gus have to make a prison break? Will Stoll get a new hair piece? Find out after the jump with my recap of this week’s episode of “The Strain.” Read the rest of this entry
Last week’s episode of “The Strain” was chock full of information via flashbacks on the history between our little Nazi Vamp and all time party pooper, Herr Eichorst (Richard Sammel) and our sword wielding concentration camp survivor, Abraham Setrakian (David Bradley). While Guz was stuck in jail with his infected friend, Neeva and the Luss children are saved by ninja vamps. All this action has made me thirsty. Let’s stop by the convenience store… we should be safe, right? Read the rest of this entry
Evil exists in darkness, but flees at the first rays of light, except when you’re a vampire, who’s able to hide underground or in dark rooms; shades pulled closed. We witnessed the moon’s eclipse of the sun in last week’s episode; now our heroes make their way in a team effort to track down the Master. Who will they use as bait? Did you ever wonder how Eichorst became the Master’s second in command? Maybe we’ll find out on this week’s episode of “The Strain.” Step lightly, their hearing is enhanced.
We learned two things in episode 5 of “The Strain”: making house calls can be dangerous; a Strigoi and a Nazi are both evil creatures, and New York City is in deep guano. Yes, my little blood banks, the Master with Palmer’s help has started a plague that cannot be stopped. What does this have to do with the upcoming eclipse? Plenty! So grab your protective bag of garlic and follow me. Read the rest of this entry
