While we’re on Election Week break with the Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series, I thought I’d take a peek at the ongoing Marvel comic of the same name. I wrote about S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 about a year ago here, but a lot has happened since then, including this ongoing series. The Agents have become firmly rooted in the Marvel Universe of the comics, and even embroiled in Civil War II. Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – the comic series.
Can vengeance be contained? After a few clashes with Quake, the Ghost Rider comes flaming face to face with the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. What is his secret, and what about the ghosts of the Momentum Lab? Worse than that, how are the Watchdogs getting info on the Inhumans? Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire!”
We’ve met the new boss, we’ve met the Ghost Rider, and we’ve seen what the team has been up to since last season, now it’s time to see what these new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are really capable of against a brand new threat – the Inhuman Resistance. Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “Uprising.”
All through the last episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. we were teased and taunted with the identity and agenda of the new Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., now we finally get to meet him. Plus a second round of Quake vs. Ghost Rider, all this and more in my review of “Meet the New Boss,” after the jump.
This is it, the season three finale, and the (hopefully) final battle between Hive and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. With their base overrun by Alpha Primitives, Hive setting his master plan in motion, and the team haunted by Daisy’s future vision – who will save the world? Find out, along with my thoughts on “Ascension,” after the jump.
In the aftermath of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are forced to register Inhumans, while Hive and his followers try to create a new breed of the race from Daisy’s Kree DNA. Meet me after the jump for more details, as Fallen Agent continues, and my review of “Emancipation.”
The Fallen Agent saga continues on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” as Hive and his Inhuman crew, including ex-Agent Quake, have bought a town with Malick’s money as their headquarters. The war is coming, can the Agents stop Hive, and… who will die, who will be the fallen agent? For my thoughts on “Failed Experiments,” meet me after the jump…
As the four-part Fallen Agent saga begins, as does the countdown to the death of one our Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., things look grim for our team. Betrayed and buried alive by Quake, can they withstand the next attack by Hive and Hydra? Find out in my review of “The Singularity,” after the jump.
