Finally, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have escaped the Hydra ruled world of The Framework, but at what cost? How have they been affected, what have they lost, and what dangerous new threat awaits them in the real world? Meet me after the jump for my review of “The Return.”
In the last episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daisy and Simmons entered The Framework only to discover their friends trapped in a Secret Empire world where Hydra rules. Can they save the rest of the team from this nightmare? Meet me after the jump for my review of “Identity and Change.”
Things were more than grim when we last left our Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. With most of the team incapacitated and plugged in the cyberspatial Framework after being replaced by LMDs, Quake and Simmons must go inside and save them. Unfortunately the Framework has created a nightmare world ruled by Hydra! Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “What If…”
In the last episode, in perhaps one of the most frightening cliffhangers in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. history, five of our team have been replaced by LMDs – everyone but Fitz and Simmons as a matter of fact – and the bad guys are looking for a full set. Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “Self Control.”
The next phase of this season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is now underway, as noted in the subtitle LMD. Aida plots to once again possess the Darkhold, while keeping May captive and an LMD of her active with the team. Meanwhile a new Inhuman, Senator Nadeer’s brother Vijay, has emerged, and that’s only the start of this new beginning. Meet me after the jump for my review of “Broken Promises.”
Just so we don’t go cold turkey with our Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD addiction, ABC has provided us with a new digital-only series for the winter break – Slingshot. Not only do we get a spotlight on Yo-Yo (Slingshot is actually her character’s name in the comics, and she’s quickly become one of my favorite characters on the show), but we also get a bit of fill-in on what happened during the time between seasons three and four. Meet me after the jump, for my thoughts on Slingshot, the digital series.
With Ghost Rider and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on the same side, will they be able to find the Darkhold before it’s too late, or does fate have other threats in store for them at Eli Morrow’s prison? Things get tense in jail and the new Director makes a startling announcement on live television, all this and more, after the jump, in my thoughts on “Lockup.”
Can vengeance be contained? After a few clashes with Quake, the Ghost Rider comes flaming face to face with the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. What is his secret, and what about the ghosts of the Momentum Lab? Worse than that, how are the Watchdogs getting info on the Inhumans? Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire!”
As the four-part Fallen Agent saga begins, as does the countdown to the death of one our Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., things look grim for our team. Betrayed and buried alive by Quake, can they withstand the next attack by Hive and Hydra? Find out in my review of “The Singularity,” after the jump.
