Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S04 E15: ‘Self Control’

In the last episode, in perhaps one of the most frightening cliffhangers in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. history, five of our team have been replaced by LMDs – everyone but Fitz and Simmons as a matter of fact – and the bad guys are looking for a full set. Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “Self Control.”

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S03 E12: The Inside Man

I think Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers put it best a few decades back, “The waiting is the hardest part.” In the last episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” we saw the Secret Warriors briefly assemble and disassemble, And Hive begin to get his bearings on Earth. Now it’s just a waiting game to see what heavy boot drops next. Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “The Inside Man.”

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S03 E11: Bouncing Back

The longer “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is away, the more excited I am for its return. What is that old adage about the heart growing fonder? When we last left our heroes, they had been reunited, scored a major blow against Hydra, and made it home from the distant planet Maveth. Unfortunately the ancient Inhuman god they were trying to stop also made its way to Earth as well… in the form of ex-Agent Grant Ward… Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “Bouncing Back.”

For an episode titled “Closure,” and with so much at stake this season of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” promises are implied. Will there really be closure? Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S03 E08: Many Heads, One Tale

The last episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” was a rough one with a traitor in their midst as Dr. Andrew Garner was revealed to be the Inhuman killer Lash, and his ex-wife May had to take him down. It doesn’t look like things are getting any better with Rosalind Price and the A.C.T.U. possibly working with Hydra. Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “Many Heads, One Tale.”

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S03 E06: Among Us Hide…

One of the things I have loved about “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is its ability to present two or more different storylines, seemingly unrelated, and then crash them in a logical collision that we were not expecting. I have always loved the show when it dives into the espionage genre that it was birthed in, and of course, in any media, I love being surprised. In this episode, I get everything I like, love, and want. Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “Among Us Hide…”
