The Flash S04 E04: ‘Elongated Journey Into Night’

afla1

Seems like old home week here on The Flash, as we’re introduced to not only the Elongated Man from the comics, but also Machete himself, Danny Trejo, as Breacher, Gypsy’s father. This should certainly be an interesting episode, especially after last week‘s seeming descent into jump-the-shark territory. Meet me after the stretch and the super speed jump for my thoughts on “Elongated Journey Into Night!”

The Flash S03 E22: ‘Infantino Street’

After what happened on last week’s episode of The Flash was pretty much a waste of time, as the plan neither worked nor advanced the plot much at all, one hopes this episode is different.  The Flash recruits archenemy Captain Cold in his war against Savitar and they run afoul of King Shark – if nothing else, this will be exciting.  Meet me after the super speed jump for my review of “Infantino Street.”

In the last episode of The Flash, Barry came to the not-so-shocking conclusion that Savitar is in reality a future version of himself. What can he do with this knowledge? So many shows before this have done it, the obligatory musical episode, and with the stars of The Flash and Supergirl both former cast members of Glee, and their supporting players in their respective shows also musically inclined, it was only a matter of time before this happened. With a villain pulled from the DC animated universe, the Music Meister, it just gets better. Meet me after the musical interlude for my thoughts on “Duet.”

I don’t think I’ve have been this excited about a season premiere of a television show since the series premiere of “The Flash” last year. You see, the Flash isn’t just my favorite superhero, but Jay Garrick is my favorite Flash. To see him brought to life on the small screen is just pure nerdgasm. Sometimes these things happen, an upcoming pilot makes its way to the internet, the web blows up, and puppies cry. This is one of those times, minus the puppies. The CBS “Supergirl” pilot was released online, and somehow, I’m not saying how, I managed to see it. Meet me after the jump and I’ll let you know what I think, of the “Supergirl” pilot.  Warning – spoilers ahead…

The Flash S01 E22: Rogue Air

fla1

The Flash is looking for a little help from his friends (and enemies) to fight the Reverse-Flash. He not only recruits Arrow and Firestorm (why not the Atom?), but also Captain Cold and his evil kid sister. Yeah, he’s that desperate, but can he trust these Rogues to be loyal when it comes down to it? And what about all the other villains out there, and imprisoned in The Pipeline? This is just one of the only two episodes of “The Flash” left, so the final battle is coming. Meet me after the treacherous super-speed jump for my thoughts on “Rogue Air.”
