Fear No Monster For Cometh “Count Crowley: Mediocre Midnight Monster Hunter #1” On The Wednesday Run

Real monsters exist, didn’t cha know? But everything you know about them is a lie.

Yesiree. I tell ya, they run all the mainstream media, from the tele-news to the ol fashioned paper ones to the new Tikky-Tokky stuff all the kids are using. They’re feeding us real humans with only the things they want to feed us with.

Monstrous, I tell ya. Monstrous.

Well, it’s a premise that could be taken from nearly any conspiracy-addled school of thought during the twenty-first century. But in Count Crowley: Mediocre Midnight Monster Hunter, it’s a thought that’s taken quite literally!

Written by David Dastmalchian, whom many might recall from acting roles in some of the most memorable films of the last decade including Oppenheimer, Dune, The Suicide Squad and The Dark Knight and illustrated by Lukas Ketner (Headless Horseman Halloween Annual) the team return for the third chapter in their ever-growing Count Crowley mythos!

Following the original Count Crowley: Reluctant Midnight Monster Hunter and the second instalment titled Count Crowley: Amateur Midnight Monster Hunter, Count Crowley: Mediocre Midnight Monster Hunter #1 is the first issue of a new four-part miniseries detailing Jerri Bartman’s continued descent into the now-revealed world of werewolves, vampires and other forms of unspeakable monsters. And the bottle of alcohol within her arm’s reach. It’s a far-cry from her intrepid television reporting days, back when she was, you know, legit. But these monsters are all to real, and only Jerri can put a stop to them!
