Glenn Walker here with the Weekend Box Office Wrap-Up Report to see how Editor-in-chief and Box Office Guru Andy Burns did with his Predictions from Thursday evening.  Andy absolutely nailed it this weekend, all his predictions on mark within a few million dollars or so. His predictions for Zootopia in first place, The Divergent Series: Allegiant as a strong second, and Miracles from Heaven and 10 Cloverfield Lane taking third and fourth, with the merc with a mouth, Deadpool still rocking the theaters in fifth place. We’ll take a deeper look at the numbers in the Wrap-Up Report, after the jump.

Even though it dropped a bit from last weekend, Zootopia still managed to beat the big new movie this week Allegiant down to a second place debut with almost ten million between them. The amazing inspirational Miracles from Heaven with Jennifer Garner managed a respectable $15 million, while 10 Cloverfield Lane scored twelve and a half million in its second week at the box office. The buzz has been strong for this one, despite it not having much to do with the original Cloverfield, but even among those who expected some connection, folks have been digging it. And Deadpool is still in there kicking in fifth place with eight million.
