Venerated director Christopher Nolan’s version of The Odyssey looks grander and weirder every time we get a glimpse of it. You know the story. After winning the Trojan War, Odysseus (Matt Damon) just wants to go home to see his wife, Penelope (Anne Hathaway), and son, Telemachus (Tom Holland). But there are cats in the hen house, as every guy in the area wants to take Odysseus’s spot on the throne. To prevent this, Odysseus has to face storms, giants, a nymph, and who knows what else to make the long journey back to Ithaca. It’s the grandest version of The Bachelorette ever.
