Furious 7 held on to the top spot for the fourth and final week in a row, bringing in another $16.3 million to bring its current North American total to a simply amazing $318 million, the biggest gross in franchise history. It’s worldwide total is over $1 billion at this point. No wonder Furious 8 has been greenlit for 2017.

As for the rest of the top five, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is in second place with $13.6 million, followed close behind in third place by The Age of Adaline, which debuts with $13.5 million. Don’t be surprised to see these two films flip spots when the final numbers come out. Meanwhile, Home was in fourth place with $7.9 million, while Unfriended closed things out in fifth with $6 million.
