‘s fair to say that The Hunger Games is one of those series that has totally captured the imagination of millions of readers. It’s also safe to say that it doesn’t remotely suck, unlike the Twilight Saga (I’m sorry to everyone who loves those books, and I’m all for guilty pleasure, but if I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again – vampires don’t shimmer!). I read through all three books in the Suzanne Collins series earlier this year and they didn’t disapoint. This coming March, we’ll see the release of the first film, staring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
The first trailer was released today and it looks fantastic. The actors hit the right notes, and the depiction of the world is how it appeared in my mind’s eye when I was reading. Take a look and let us know what you think.
