In the world of espionage, double crosses and double agents happen all the time, but in a world where gods also walk the earth, super heroes and super-villains tear cities apart, and men fly through the air wearing high tech armor, things can be just a bit more dangerous and unexpected. And what is up with those red face masks? Join me after the jump for my thoughts on the newest episode of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” – “Eye Spy.”
This week, the network television new season line-ups were revealed, and at the front of ABC’s offerings was the Avengers television spin-off “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” And we have not one, but two sneak peeks!
Last week, to celebrate the season premiere of “Continuum” on Canada’s Showcase network, we featured the first part of an interview with lead actress Rachel Nichols. She talked about some specifics of the return of the “Continuum” TV series, and her character, Kiera Cameron. This week, we find out a bit more about the show, Kiera, science fiction in general, and Rachel’s career. I even get to ask questions this time, imagine that. Check it out, after the jump.
Tonight, the season two premiere of “Continuum” airs at 9:00 PM on Showcase in Canada. The time travel scifi action adventure also airs on the SyFy Channel (debuting on June 7, 2013), and stars Rachel Nichols in the lead role of future law enforcement officer Kiera Cameron.
I recently had a chance to sit in on a interview session with Rachel and ask a few questions. We’ll have portions of that session and more, with part one of our interview with Rachel Nichols, after the jump.
Time travel is a tricky thing at the best of times. But when you’re suddenly sent decades back in time with what looks like absolutely no means of getting home, and you’re expected to prevent a war to boot? Well, that makes things even tougher, I’d say.
And so would CPS Protector Kiera Cameron in the new sci-fi series Continuum, premiering tonight on Showcase.
