Marvel’s Agent Carter S01 E08: Valediction

ag1

Here we are at the last episode of “Marvel’s Agent Carter.” I hesitate to say this is the season finale and no decision has been made yet for more, but let me be the first to say I wouldn’t mind, and would welcome another period piece break with these characters next year with the also as-yet-unrenewed “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Let’s enjoy it while it lasts, and meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “Valediction.”

Agent-for-the-moment Peggy Carter has been captured by her own organization and accused of treason. Can she explain herself as her former SSR teammates close in on Howard Stark? Things are heating up in this second to the last episode of “Marvel’s Agent Carter.” All this, and Dottie the Cold War Black Widow, and possibly Dr. Faustus, are still stalking about. Meet me in the shadows on the other side for my thoughts on “Snafu.”

With only two more episodes after this one, we are in the home stretch of “Marvel’s Agent Carter.” Things are getting tight, with a Black Widow prototype on her tail, and soon her own comrades at the SSR, it’s not looking good for Peggy. Rendezvous with me after the checkpoint for my thoughts on “A Sin to Err.”

Marvel’s Agent Carter S01 E05: The Iron Ceiling

In the last episode of “Agent Carter” we finally saw what that something special we all saw in Dottie really was, and it sure looked like Black Widow stuff to us. Marvel Comics verified our suspicions late last week, and now Peggy Carter is on her way to Russia with the old Howling Commandos. Are we going to see more of the secret origin of the Black Widow? Meet me after the acrobatic jump, for my thoughts on “The Iron Ceiling.”

After three episodes of hunting down Howard Stark’s secret gizmos, and fighting off the mysterious Leviathan, we get a bit of a new twist on “Marvel’s Agent Carter.” A lot of the fun is gone, but we do get a bit of a game changer, as well as a peek at the upcoming return of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “The Blitzkrieg Button.”

Marvel’s Agent Carter S01 E03: Time and Tide

Marvel’s newest television series “Agent Carter” got off to quite a start last week with a double-episode premiere, and judging from critical and viewer reaction, folks liked it much more than the series it spun off from, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” In the third episode of “Agent Carter,” not only is Jarvis arrested, but there’s possibly a secret in the offing. Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “Time and Tide.”

Marvel’s Agent Carter S01 E02: Bridge and Tunnel

Last night the second episode of “Marvel’s Agent Carter” aired right after the first. I decided to tackle each episode separately to more closely examine what happened. It certainly was an exciting night of television, and it was also pretty good as well. All that, and Ant-Man too! Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on “Bridge and Tunnel,” the second episode of “Agent Carter.”

Marvel’s Agent Carter S01 E01: Now Is Not the End

While “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is on hiatus, we’re getting “Agent Carter,” a flashback-prequel companion series that will be telling some of the stories that fill in background and hopefully secrets going on in the background this season. A lot of folks are excited about this series, especially people who aren’t watching “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” so hopefully this will refuel the viewership. Meet me after the jump for my thoughts on the pilot episode of “Agent Carter.”
