If you want to judge a movie by its trailer, then we should all be applauding how damn entertaining Venom looks. Following the mishap that was the character in Spider-Man 3, it appears that director Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) has managed to strike the right tone and get Venom right. Are we getting a horror-esque take on the classic anti-hero? Sure looks like it. Throw in some Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, and Riz Ahmed and I’m already sold.
Venom hits theatres November 5, 2018. We can’t wait.
