It’s completely understandable if you find yourself experiencing Marvel universe fatigue. But… one doesn’t have to watch every single Marvel iteration—whether that be movies or TV series—to appreciate a fantastic, feminist show like Jessica Jones.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting word of the popular Netflix series’ Season 2 premiere date. As this new teaser trailer reveals, that date is March 18, 2018.
Is Jessica still snarky and surly? Yes. Does she still wear old T-shirts, ripped jeans, and a motorcycle jacket? Yes. Does she drink too much? Probably.
In addition to Jessica and her BFF Trish (Rachael Taylor), there will be a couple of new cast members played by Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez. Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse) will also be joining the cast. I suspect that Jessica will also have a new love interest this season, or at least a sex interest.
Here’s a brief synopsis of what to expect from Season 2 of Jessica Jones:
New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.
No doubt there will be more info revealed as the premiere date of the second season approaches. In the meantime, follow the show on Facebook and Twitter.
