Star Wars: The Force Awakens had another outstanding weekend, bringing in an estimated $41 million, raising its four week total to $811.3 million in North America. While its now doubtful the film will be the first to crack $1 billion in North America as some pundits wondered, the movie could still be on its way to $900 million, which would be beyond amazing.

The Revenant with Leonardo DiCaprio went into wide release this weekend and outperformed expectations, landing in second place with a solid $36.5 million. The film should do well over the coming weeks, especially as Leo is expected to nab a Golden Globe for his work tonight and an Oscar nomination as well.

As for the rest of the top five, Daddy’s Home was in third place with $14.2 million, while the new horror release The Forest withstood lacklustre reviews to hit fourth place with $11.9 million. Sisters closed things out in fifth with $7.2 million.

So, to recap, here were our predictions:

1) Star Wars: The Force Awakens – $52 million
2) The Revenant – $26 million
3) Daddy’s Home – $17 million
4) The Hateful Eight – $10 million
5) Sisters – $6 million
