Let’s start with Guardians of the Galaxy: Galaxy’s Most Wanted #1. Here, kids (um, and adults) will get introduced to arguably the two most interesting, most marketable bounty-hunting characters in the upcoming film: the giant-gun toting, bad attitude hero named Rocket Raccoon and his giant bark-skinned, tree-limbed partner, Groot! (You can see the toy line now, can’t you? Yes you can.)

Here, Groot attempts to arrest his best buddy, Rocket! Say what?

Of course, there has to be more than meets the eye to that tagline and indeed, there’s more than meets the eye with this extra-sized comic: it also includes a reprint of Thor #314 – where the Asgardian rumbles with the muscle-bound badass Drax 9another main character form the Guardians of the Galaxy film).

That all makes Guardians of the Galaxy: Galaxy’s Most Wanted #1 a great place to get acquainted with the main protagonists of the upcoming movie.
