So what if, amidst tough theatrical competition in Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and the original Ghostbusters, it was a financial flop?
Fans loved it. And the film has only grown an international following in the decades that followed its original theatrical release.
