The second trailer for Neil Marshall’s reboot of Hellboy is in the wild! Director Marshall has promised a darker, grittier adventure for the beloved character. Hellboy is rated R for bloody gore and violence. By the looks of this new red band trailer, there’s plenty of blood and guts to go around. The movie is causing some trepidation among fans, though. Ron Perlman has been replaced by the jovial David Harbour (Stranger Things) as Hellboy. Milla Jovovich is the Big Bad as Nimue, the Queen of Blood. She’s proven her action movie chops, but she can cut it as an ancient sorceress? Most importantly, Guillermo del Toro is nowhere near this iteration of Hellboy. That’s enough to turn some folks against the idea of the film. Check out the new trailer, then tell us if you’re going to check out the new Hellboy when it arrives in theaters April 12.
