Who here remembers the 1960’s?

For the last few years, DC Comics has been regularly publishing the monthly chronicles of Batman ’66 – a series dedicated to the fun, colour and hilarity of that famous television series and the time period which birthed it. It’s been a great series – I know that Biff Bam Pop’s very own Glenn Walker is a fan! It’s an acclaimed series that has had several volumes already collected in hardcover and softcover editions. Visit your local comic book store to check them out!

Today, Batman ’66 and all of his 1966 pals and villains – including Robin, Batgirl, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy and Scarecrow, team up with Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin from The Man From U.N.C.L.E.!

Together, they race across the globe to stop the threats of the evil organization called T.H.R.U.S.H. In fact, to succeed, they’ll need to find out who the mysterious new leader of their global adversary is! From Gotham City to Europe to deserted islands, Batman, U.N.C.L.E and their pals go undercover to get to the heart of the deadly secret!

Over four issues, writer Jeff Parker (Batman ’66, Aquaman) and illustrator David Hahn (Fringe: Tales From the Fringe, Red: Better Red Than Dead) bring the action each month, with a decidedly 1960’s vibe. If you were a fan of either television series (at the time or in re-runs), or if you’re just a fan of action and super-hero comic books, then you’ll love Batman ’66 Meets the Man From U.N.C.L.E. #1!

“Open channel D” and “bring turbines to speed” and make the run to your local comic book shop today and get in on Batman ’66 Meets the Man From U.N.C.L.E. #1!
