The kids are the focus of the new trailer for Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which dropped on the internet this morning. The new film, which will be released in November and stars Paul Rudd, Logan Kim, Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, and Carrie Coon, picks up the series for a new generation of ‘Busters. It definitely seems like a ‘passing the torch’ moment, with not much dwelling to be had on Akyroyd’s Ray, Bill Murray’s Peter, Ernie Hudson’s Winston, Rick Moranis’ Louie, or Harold Ramis’s Egon. This feels both new and familiar, which is just what this franchise needs.
There’s a decidedly epic feel to this new trailer, and the chemistry between the kids seems great. Check it out here ahead of Afterlife’s release on November 11!
