Horror twistmeister M. Night Shyamalan’s new film, Old, has a new trailer! The film is about a group of families that vacation together to a secluded beach where mysterious forces cause it’s inhabitants to age very rapidly. The trailer features no shortage of body horror and psychological torture, and ramps up very quickly from there. It is unconfirmed at this time that the rapid aging is the result of malicious trees.
Old stars Gael Garcia Bernal (Blindness, The Motorcycle Diaries), Rufus Sewell (The Man in the High Castle), and Thomasin McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit, Last Night In Soho). Shyamalan directs from his own screenplay, which is based on a graphic novel called Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Lévy and Frederik Peeters.
Old will be released in theatres on July 23, 2021.
