While the rest of the world is either in the desert listening to amazing music superstars or watching the latest blows in the American Presidential war, some of us have been focused on the genre events going on at this year’s New York Comic Con. The new trailer for Marvel’s Iron Fist on Netflix dropped, and with a release date of March 17, 2017, here it is:
Also on the Netflix news front, we got the big announcement of the villain for the upcoming Defenders series…
Also in the Marvel Universe, there were announcements about a new Spider-Man animated series coming from Disney X-D, and also that Hayley Atwell will be reprising her role, at least in voice, as Agent Carter in next season’s Avengers: Secret Wars.
Over at DC Comics, old school and new school fans were excited to hear that there would be a digital and print mini-series teaming Batman ’66 and Wonder Woman ’77 against the evil of R’as al Ghul across the decades. Also, behind the scenes footage dropped of the upcoming Justice League movie…
For the Doctor Who fans, there was a look at the Christmas special, “The Return of Doctor Mysterio,” featuring a superhero into the Whoniverse, and a first look at new spin-off series, Class.
We got a taste of what is to come on The Walking Dead in a couple weeks…
And finally we have a look at what might be one of the biggest surprises of this weekend, the trailer for the new Power Rangers film…
