Will It Be Status Quo For Three Days? Biff Bam Pop’s Box Office Predictions

As the festive season wraps up, it looks to be a relatively quiet weekend at the movie. The only new release, The Woman In Black 2, won’t make a dent in the top (due to the fact that Daniel Radcliffe isn’t involved in this one), so it will be the holdovers from last weekend who will make up the numbers.

url13Look for The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies to continue its reign at the top of the heap with $21 million. Into The Woods will be right behind it in second place with $18 million. Angelina Jolie’s surprisingly popular World War II film Unbroken will be in third spot with $16 million, while Night At The Museum: Secret Of The Tomb will grab fourth place with $15 million. Annie should close things out in fifth with $11 million.

So, to recap, here are our predictions:

1) The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies – $21 million
2) Into The Woods – $18 million
3) Unbroken – $16 million
4) Night At The Museum: Secret Of The Tomb – $15 million
5) Annie – $11 million

Be sure to check back on Sunday to see how the weekend turns out!
