Welcome to this week’s instalment of What’s Going On, Biff Bam Pop’s weekly new music roundup. As always, if you dig what you hear, be sure to stream and follow these artists.
Press Club – Melbourne punk-rock outfit Press Club finally released their much-anticipated fourth album, To All The Ones That I Love. Recorded in their Footscray studio with guitarist Greg Rietwyk at the helm and mastered by Kris Crummett, the album showcases a massive, textured sound exploring growth, connection, and self-awareness. Featuring singles “Tightrope,” “I Am Everything,” and “Wasted Days,” this record is a raw and heartfelt love letter to fans who have been supporting them along the way. Press Club might not be a name making major waves in North America yet, but this is your chance to get on board early.

NAV – Canadian hip-hop heavyweight NAV is extending the ride with the deluxe edition of OMW 2 REXDALE, out now. Just over a month since he dropped the standard album, NAV gifts fans eight fresh solo tracks that tap into his signature moody, melodic sound. Standout tracks “GET U BACK” and “LIFT SERVICE” sound like vintage NAV while still showing how he effortlessly evolves with each project. With critics calling it a return to form, this deluxe drop sees NAV reclaiming his spot as a top hip-hop hitmaker.

AP Dhillon – Fresh off his genre-defying The Brownprint EP and the viral hit “Afsos” with Anuv Jain, AP Dhillon is back with OKAY STFU, a bold one-two punch. “OKAY” is an infectious, uptempo banger featuring Syra, with the pair trading verses over a slick BNYX beat. On “STFU,” AP teams up with Shinda Kahlon for a razor-sharp anthem over a Dre-style instrumental. With swagger, versatility, and bite, AP proves once again why he’s one to watch.

Summer Walker – R&B fans have been listening to “Heart Of A Woman” since it dropped last fall, and now Summer Walker is back with a new single, “Spend It.” The latest track gives fans a taste of what’s to come with Finally Over It, the final chapter of her Over It series. “Spend It” drips with Walker’s signature confidence and smooth, sultry vocals, and her devoted fanbase is already eating it up. With this latest drop, Summer proves once again: when it comes to R&B, she never misses.

The Messenger Birds – Alt-rock duo The Messenger Birds return with their gripping new single “FAKE LIVES,” the lead track from their upcoming EP GRAMMY AWARD WINNING ALBUM IT’S ALL A BLUR, dropping June 13. The EP’s title is a mouthful, but “FAKE LIVES” packs a serious punch. With roaring riffs and biting lyrics, the song confronts the curated chaos of social media and the erosion of authenticity in the digital age. Described by the band as a raw reflection on existing in 2025, the EP blends explosive alt-rock energy with searing social commentary. We should have more for you on The Messenger Birds soon. Stay tuned!
