PARIS. – Burnaby, BC’s very own PARIS. is out now with his ode to basketball, “4th Quarter.” Produced by and co-written with Just Ideas (Farruko, Dom Vallie, Lil Berete) and Zypitano (Rod Wave, Future, Lil Uzi Vert), “4th Quarter” sees PARIS. delivering a motivational gameday message on what’s sure to be a stadium staple. The rising hip-hop/R&B sensation name-checks a variety of stars from James Harden and the late Kobe Bryant to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The track has already gotten a co-sign from the Toronto Raptors and SiriusXM. Talking about the feel of the new single, PARIS. states: “‘4th Quarter’ is a song all about hype and hunkering down into that last gear. It starts off with a melodic approach, a very cinematic opening. It’s meant to envision a motivational speech-like vibe. When the beat drops, we get into the thick of the song. It’s all about going hard.”

Southtowne Lanes – Eugene, OR-based rockers Southtowne Lanes just released their new single “Go Cold,” their first release of new music since 2016. The powerful and poignant song sees the hardcore band tackling feelings of loss and grief. “Go Cold” also serves as the first taste of what listeners can expect from Southtowne Lanes’ new album Take Care, due out May 10th via Dog Knights Productions. “The main event. The moment of death, the moment the light goes out,” recalls lead singer/guitarist Matt Kupka. “The stains of human decomposition on the walls clashing with childhood pictures and memories, and the long walk down the hallway in which I witnessed what real actual death can look like. ‘Go Cold’ was the second working title for the album, but we deemed it too dark and not reflective of the hopeful sentiments found in the record.”
