Hello, it’s me, the Biff Bam Pop! Princess (or just call me Anya now). This weekend is super-big for me, because it’s the first Splatoon 3 Splatfest!
“What’s a Splatfest?” you might be asking. Well, it’s when you pick from three teams and, when you do battles in-game, you are sorted with other people who thought that team was the best one. At the end a winner is decided based on popularity, Turf War clout, and conch shells. Conch shells can be exchanged for cool stuff at the shell out mechine. This splatfest’s theme is: what would you take to a desert island, gear, grub or fun? (I’m on Team Gear).
Splatoon 3 came out two weeks ago and I LOVE it. I was counting down the days from when it was first announced to when it finally arrived on September 9th. It was a long wait, but I’d say it was worth it.
Here’s what’s new in Splatoon 3:
You can decorate your locker with things you with buy with game money from Hotlantis, the general store, run by the shy anemone Harmony. There is a whole new story mode with exciting adventures and mysterys in Alterna to be discovered. Salmon run has returned, but with a twist. Every so often you will run into a King salmonid. Defeat it with golden eggs for a special reward. Table Turf Battle is a brand new minigame introduced, just in case normal turf war is a bit to much. Collect cards in-game to fight against NPC’s and unlock new cards, splashtags, and stages to practice on! And introducing…Deep Cut! Deep Cut is a trio made up of Shiver, Frye, and Big Man. They host the news channel, Anarchy Splatcast, as well as host Splatfests.

Along with monthly Splatfests, fans will also get DLC content, plus a whole bunch of new amiibos to go with Callie and Marie, which have been rerelased so we don’t have to pay hundreds of dollars for them!
I thnk anyone who liked the first two games will love Splatoon 3, and people who haven’t played it before will also love it.
See you at the Splatfest!
