Trailer Time: “Jurassic World: Dominion” Set to Stomp This Summer

Purported to be the final film in the venerable Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World: Dominion brings together cast members from the newer films (Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard) with favorites from the original trilogy (Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum). There are also dinosaurs. Lots and lots of dinosaurs.

Judging by the trailer, Dominion will take more of an Assassin’s Creed approach to the series as Pratt and his wacky band of animal handlers, entrepreneurs and archaeologists bounce around the planet to keep humanity safe from the gigantic beasts. Or is it the other way around? Do humans pose a greater threat to the dinosaurs? How many cute human children will the dinosaurs consume? Why would you have a movie with Dominion in the title and not play a Sisters of Mercy song over the action?

We’ll find out the answers to those heavy philosophical questions in June. In the meantime, please enjoy this trailer filled with explosions, velociraptors, motorcycles, and Jeff Goldblum. One of those things ought to hook the viewers.

Jurassic World: Dominion is slated for release in the US on June 10, 2022 by Universal Pictures.
