The game is afoot! With May 14th rapidly approaching, we’ve got the new trailer for Spiral: The Book of Saw. Fans of the franchise have been waiting for this one for over a year, as the film was originally slated to release last May, and was pushed back due to the pandemic. I’m sure that Lionsgate is hoping for this one to kick off a big summer moviegoing season, with theatres opening up in major markets like Los Angeles and New York.
The trailer centres around a mysterious package, and is definitely not subtle about Jigsaw being back on his bullshit and laying down a spiral motif around town. The much-anticipated new installment is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, who directed Saws 2, 3, and 4, and stars Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, Zoie Palmer, and Marisol Nichols.
