Trailer Time: Denis Villeneuve’s DUNE

After dropping a teaser yesterday, the good folks from the wee indie film, Dune have released the epic first trailer for the latest adaptation of Frank Herbert’s universe-spanning story, which is set to release on December 18, 2020.

The film stars Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, Josh Brolin, Charlotte Rampling, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Stellan Skarsgard, Javier Bardem, Oscar Issac, and…Okay you know what, it probably would have been faster to list the people not in this movie.

With Denis Villeneuve behind the camera, Hans Zimmer on board to do the score, and a screenplay penned by Villeneuve, Eric Roth (Forrest Gump), and Jon Spaihts (Doctor Strange, Prometheus, and the upcoming Dune: The Sisterhood series), Dune 2020 is looking to do justice to the novel that many sci-fi fans have been aching to see adapted properly, or at least differently. If you’re like me and have been waiting literal decades for this movie, get this trailer into your eyes, lickety-split!

DUNE will be released, somehow, on December 18, 2020
