The expanded Harry Potter universe looks to be headed into darker territory in the final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Chock full of visual clues for Potterheads to mull over and dissect, the second film in this spinoff franchise features a white-haired, dichromatic-eyed Johnny Depp as dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald wreaking havoc within the Wizarding World. Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) is neck deep in the quest to stop him, along with Jude Law as a young Albus Dumbledore and Dan Fogler as the bumbling Jacob Kowalski.
But if you’re a fan of the franchise, you know all this. Watch the final trailer and unpack it all for yourself, but keep an eye out for a certain familiar snake.
