Amy Adams knocked it out of the park with her starring role in HBO’s Sharp Objects, an eight-episode adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s novel about a alcoholic reporter who returns to her hometown to write about the murder of two young girls.
The series was directed by Jean-Mac Vallée, and co-stars Patricia Clarkson, Elizabeth Perkins,Henry Czerny, Chris Messina and Matt Craven.
