Coming out of San Diego this weekend are new details about “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and “Marvel’s Agent Carter.” We know about Lucy Lawless joining the cast, but not to what extent and what character, and could there be an Avenger in the mix? Meet me after the jump for more…
Here’s the special ‘training video’ presented at SDCC, the season two teaser for “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” featuring Patton Oswalt as Agent Koenig.
Obviously Patton Oswalt will be returning along with the rest of the surviving and non-Hydra cast, but joining them will be the aforementioned Lucy Lawless. Xena the Warrior Princess will be portraying veteran agent Isabel Hartley. Nick Blood plays Lance Hunter from the comics, and also from the comics, we’ll be seeing Reed Diamond as Kraken, this season’s big bad.
Oh yeah, and as indicated in the training video, we’ll be seeing Bobbi Morse AKA Mockingbird, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who eventually married Hawkeye and became a member of the West Coast Avengers. There’s no indication who will be playing her, but hopefully we’ll get some cool staff action this season.
