I don’t know if the staff can participate, but…I think my favorite Stephen King story besides the Stand is “It”. Using a clown, King weaved every child’s worst nightmare into one hell of a horror tale. The main characters who had escaped the clown’s evil as children, were once again hunted down and terrorized as adults, proving that you can never outgrow the boogey man. You’re never safe.
I’d have to go with It. I mean, the thing is normally a freaking clown, that’s frightening enough! The fact that it can become whatever you fear most, that’s even worse.
I’d have to go with It. The creature is a freaking clown, which is frightening enough, but it can also turn into whatever your greatest fear is. That’s much worse!
My favorite Stephen King novel was the Shining because it was by far the scariest book and movie and one of his best offerings thus far. I can’t wait to read Doctor Sleep!
