It’s the labor day long weekend, and it should be a fairly slow one this weekend, so consider this a quick set of predictions for your perusal.
One Direction: This Is Us the is concert documentary featuring the extremely popular boy band from Britain. This should be the pick for tweens this weekend, and will likely have a decent opening before quickly fading into the sunset like so many other musical movies. Look for a first place showing with $20 million.
As for the rest of the top five, look for Lee Daniels’ The Butler to drop to second place with $13 million. We’re The Millers will grab third place with $12.5 million, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones will hit fourth spot with $11 million, while Planes will round out the top five with $9 million.

2) Lee Daniels’ The Butler – $13 million
3) We’re The Millers – $12.5 million
