Villains & Monsters Week: Win A Free Copy Of Hellraiser Volume 1!

Alright, Biff Bam Poppers! It’s Villains & Monsters Week here on the site, and in honour of all the legendary bad guys we’re celebrating, we’ve got a hell of a good giveaway for you.

Starting today, we’re giving giving you a chance to win a copy of the brand new Hellraiser Volume 1 trade paperback, courtesy of our good friends at BOOM! Studios. Written by Hellraiser creator Clive Barker and Christopher Monfette, the series picks up years after Hellbound: Hellraiser II. We’ve been reading it and loving it (as you can see here and here), and now you’ve got a chance to catch up on the world of Pinhead and the Cenobites.

Here’s how you enter:

1) “Like” our page on Facebook (click here and you’ll know what to do) or tweet #BiffBamPop on your Twitter account.

2) In the comment section below, tell us who your favourite pop culture villain or monster is and why. Don’t write us an essay, just let us know who your favourite baddie is and why he/she/they are your pick. Simple stuff. (But if you choose Pinhead, you better give us a real good reason why :)).

The deadline for entries will be this Thursday night at 11:59pm, Eastern Daylight Time.  Limit one entry per person.  The Biff Bam Pop! editorial staff will look over the entries to randomly select a winner that will be announced on Friday.

Here’s your chance to have you soul torn apart again, from Biff Bam Pop and BOOM! Studios!

  1. The baddest of all bad when it comes to terror. Hands down Jason Voorhees. Here is man/monster or whatever; who’s past is so tangled with at this point just theories. His back story has some point, but bottom line up front. He is a driven killer. Give this guy a plastic spork and he will kill you with it. One minute he’s right behind you…the next, you run right in front of him. King of death with any lawn tool you could possible find. Blown up, drown, hacked up, axed in the brain bucket, shot, stabbed, ran down and somehow in the end-the wild man is still kicking. Even Freedy met his match…lol. If you’re going for complete death and body count…the one that adds up…Jason Voorhees.

  2. Hans Gruber from the original/quintessential Die Hard. The beard, the accent, the ruthlessness. And the fact that it’s Alan Rickman. Need I say more?

  3. This is really tough. Since it is October and Pinhead is a horror villain; I’ll choose a horror villain as well. I’m gonna have to say Ghostface from the Scream series because I just love the Scream movies and it’s probably my favorite horror series.

  4. Dr. Doom is my current favourite villain. He’s an evil powerhungry genius that constantly gets in the face of the goody goody types. He also rocks a metal mask and green cape nicely. DOOM DOOM DOOM!

  5. Sinestro! Cuz of his bad-ass villianous mustache.

  6. My vote is for Ursilla of little mermaid fame or cruela de ville…I kid – the joker is pretty badass (psychologically deranged sums it up).

  7. My favorite movie monsters are the vampires in 30 days of night. They are portrayed as top of the chain animalistic hunters.

  8. PINHEAD. HIS PINS ARE INSPIRATION FOR MY OWN BODY MODIFICATION.
