April + VISTA – If April + VISTA aren’t on your radar yet, consider this your official introduction. The Virginia/Maryland duo are crafting some of the most adventurous and emotionally rich music today, blending soul, hip-hop, electronic experimentation, and bold songwriting into a sound uniquely their own. Fresh off acclaim for debut album Traditional Noise, the pair bring their immersive live show to Toronto’s Drake Underground on July 28 as part of their summer tour. Tickets are still available here.

Andye – Toronto’s Andye is establishing himself as one of Canadian R&B’s brightest rising stars with “Easy,” a silky, smooth slow jam that channels the essence of early-2000s R&B. Wolves of Glendale – Following in the footsteps of Weird Al, Dread Zeppelin, and Richard Cheese, Wolves of Glendale prove comedy rock is alive and well with “My Uncle Got a Hot Tub.” Packed with giant arena-sized riffs, outrageous humour and a gloriously over-the-top horror-inspired video, the Los Angeles trio continues building momentum toward their forthcoming album Go to the Woods.

2hollis – Few artists are bending the rules of modern pop quite like 2hollis. The genre-defying singer, producer and songwriter kicks off his next era with “Hurt,” a bold, emotionally charged single that fuses club energy, industrial textures and left-field hyperpop quirks into something entirely his own. His 2025 album Star was met with high praise and critical acclaim; it’d be hard to imagine that won’t be the case with whatever he’s working toward now.
