Just what the world was asking for – another Resident Evil movie.
But wait! This one is directed by Zach Cregger, who directed Barbarian and Weapons, two of the most highly regarded horror films of the last few years. Cregger’s pedigree speaks for itself, so hopefully he’ll deliver a great new take on the venerable but not always solid film franchise.
Here’s the logline: Follows a hapless courier tasked with delivering a package to a remote hospital. He soon finds himself caught in the middle of an outbreak and must fight through hordes of mutated creatures to survive.
Resident Evil arrives in theatres later this year.
