When a paranormal podcast plays a series of odd audio messages, weird things start to happen in Undertone, coming soon from A24. While the visual elements in the trailer are subdued with things happening mainly in the background, it’s the sound that takes center stage in Undertone. There’s backwards masking, heavy filters and chops, and creepy voices. Sure, watch the trailer, but shove in some earbuds and crank this sucker up.
