Figure Friday: Top RSVLT Shirts to Elevate Your Style

I planned on writing a piece on RSVLTs for the annual Biff Bam Pop! Holiday Gift Guide, but the deals are aplenty, and the stock is getting to be slim pickings! I can’t have you missing out on the best deals of the year on my favourite shirts, so consider this an appetizer to the BBPHGG2025!

Let’s get the formalities out of the way first: it’s pronounced like Former US President Teddy Roosevelt’s last name. My love affair with RSVLTs began a couple of years ago at Fan Expo Canada. Their shirts had been popping up in my social media feeds for a few months, but I’d never seen any of their stuff in person. Once I put my hands on their KunuFlex short-sleeve shirt, I was hooked.

I love shirts that make a statement. As you can see, RSVLT’s shirts can be pretty bold. While I don’t mind a flashy pattern or floral print, I also like the way they sneak splashes of fandom into a shirt that 90% of the population isn’t going to pick up on. That’s what makes it so cool when someone DOES stop you to point it out or ask about it. It’s an easy way to find the cool people in the room without having to ask.

In addition to the KunuFlex, I have expanded my wardrobe to include RSVLT’s All-Day Polos, Seer Sucker short-sleeve shirts, and Performance Hoodies. All of my RSVLTs have held up to multiple washes, and I haven’t noticed any fading. The materials are breathable and wear really well. The Performance Hoodies are my personal favourite; they are lightweight with a nice stretch to them. Not too hot. Not too cool. It’s the perfect hoodie to lounge around the house on a Sunday morning with a cup of coffee and comics.

All that being said, these are premium shirts and they aren’t inexpensive. RSVLTs doesn’t run that many sales. If you’ve read this column long enough, you know I’m not afraid to play the long game to get a good deal. For RSVLTs, Black Friday is the time to buy! While the entire site isn’t on sale, there are some deep discounts and solid markdowns on a nice selection of shirts for men, women and children. I’m pretty picky, and I was still able to get my cart up over a grand by the time I realized I might have a problem.

Since it’s Figure Friday, I thought I’d share a selection of my favourite action figure-centric shirts. To highlight what I love most about RSVLTs, I’ve picked a variety of styles. Loud and obnoxious or quiet and reserved. They’re all something I would wear. I’ve received more compliments on my RSVLT shirts than anything else in my wardrobe. They’ve got something for everyone on your gift list, and you might as well treat yourself while you’re at it. Just be careful. It’s a slippery slope.
