Figure Friday: G.I. Joe Classified Series Snow C.A.T. HasLab and SDCC Recap

It feels like it’s been a while since I’ve talked about G.I. Joe Classified. The figures have been scarce on the pegs, but with the reset season upon us, we should be due for some new recruits soon. In the meantime, there’s a HasLab running through mid-August, and we were just blessed with some solid reveals and preorders at SDCC. Let’s catch up on the latest Classified happenings!

G.I. Joe Classified Series Snow C.A.T. HasLab

This year’s HasLab takes the Joe Team to the tundra with the Snow C.A.T. (Combat All-Terrain) vehicle. While snowy terrains might not be everyone’s cup of tea, Hasbro has packed enough into the fully unlocked offering to start your own Arctic research camp.

The Details per Hasbro:

The Snow C.A.T. measures 21.05” (534.75 mm) long and stands 10.85” (275.64 mm) tall. The cockpit seating can accommodate both driver and passenger with the chassis, wheels, and treads spanning 10.44” (265.26 mm) wide.

The Snow C.A.T. has LED lighting for the dashboard, headlights, tail lights, light bar flood lights, night-pursuit, fog lights, convoy lights, as well as flashing hazards

Includes a Classified Series figure of driver Farley “Frostbite” Seward

360-degree rotating missile turret with 4 shockwave missiles with detachable blast effects

Remove the missile launcher and armour plate to convert the rear bay into a personnel carrier with bench seating for 4

2 “Avalanche” ski missiles with removable side cargo crates

Beneath the bench seating is cargo storage to stow gear.

The tailgate with handrail also drops down, acting as a loading ramp.

The open rear bay grants entry to access panels revealing the Twin IL6 9.0 Litre, Direct Injection Turbo Diesel Engine details

The obverse sides of the access panels stow crescent and socket wrench accessories.

Slide-out kitchenette with food preparation surfaces, additional beverage holders, and a compartment to store ice accessories to preserve their food supplies

Front armour plating that folds down to reveal a functional manual winch

Removable brush guard

Tow hitch

Numerous handles and steps for dynamic figure posing

Sticker sheet for vehicle customization, such as a frosted windshield effect

There are three tiers of unlocks available, should the gods allow it.

10,000 Backers unlocks – Lady Jaye in Arctic Gear

12,000 Backers unlocks – Bivouac Battle Station

14,000 Backers unlocks – Flint in Arctic Gear

The campaign runs through 11:59 PM ET on August 14th. If successful, the project is expected to begin shipping in Late Fall 2026.

G.I. Joe Classified Series Dreadnoks Cold Slither: Band of Vipers Tour Commemorative Action Figure Set

It wouldn’t be SDCC without some sort of hard-to-acquire exclusive. This year is no exception, and in my opinion, it’s every bit worth the hype. The Dreadnoks Cold Slither set is everything I want in an exclusive. Something fun and unexpected that deserves to be made, but might not necessarily succeed as a retail release. (Though I would argue EVERYONE would want to buy ’80s Hair Metal band action figures.) Chances are, you probably didn’t secure one of these in the two minutes they were available to Pulse Premium members last week. Fortunately, it looks like we’ll get another opportunity at Cold Slither later today.

SDCC Preorders

There were a handful of pre-orders that went up last week to celebrate Comic Con. I’m looking forward to assembling an army of giant scorpions, and the Grim Viper is a great way to reuse the incredible Range Viper head sculpt. Wet-Suit is a must-have for me, and while I might not rush to order the Modular Defence Post, I’d grab one if there were a nice sale going on.

SDCC Reveals

No specifics on the following reveal outside of Pythona being a Fall Convention Exclusive. That Ghost Viper with Dire Wolf are at the top of my must-have list.
